We want the rules to be clear before you pay. This page sets out exactly when Gunnio credits can be refunded, what is non-refundable, and how long a refund takes to reach you.
Gunnio sells prepaid credits, not a subscription. There is nothing to cancel and no recurring charge to stop. If you have credits you have not used, you can ask for a refund of those unused credits within 7 days of purchase. Credits you have already spent on completed analyses are not refundable, because the service for those credits has already been delivered.
Credits are delivered to your wallet immediately on successful payment, so an order cannot be cancelled after it completes — there is no dispatch window to interrupt.
If a payment fails, times out, or is abandoned before it completes, no order is created and no credits are issued. Any amount debited by your bank in such a case is a pending authorisation that is reversed automatically by the payment gateway, usually within 5 to 7 business days.
We will refund you in the following situations:
The following are non-refundable:
Partial refunds: where a purchase has been partly used, we refund only the unused portion. The refundable amount is calculated pro rata as (unused credits ÷ credits purchased) × amount paid for that purchase, rounded to the nearest rupee. The used portion stays with us.
Email support@gunnio.com from the address registered on your account with the subject line "Refund request". Please include:
We acknowledge every request within 1 business day and tell you whether it is approved within 3 business days. If we need more information to verify the request, we will ask for it before the clock starts.
Approved refunds are initiated within 3 business days of approval. The money is credited back to the original payment method — the same card, UPI handle, net-banking account or wallet used for the purchase. We cannot refund to a different instrument or issue cash refunds.
Once initiated, the amount typically reaches you within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. The exact posting time is controlled by your bank, not by us. We will share the refund reference number so you can trace it with them.
The corresponding credits are removed from your wallet at the time the refund is initiated. Applicable GST is refunded along with the base amount, and a credit note is issued against the original invoice.
Gunnio does not operate any subscription, auto-renewal, e-mandate or standing instruction. Every purchase is a one-time prepaid transaction, so there is no recurring billing to cancel and no cancellation notice period.
If we introduce subscription plans in the future, this policy will be updated with clear cancellation rules and you will be asked to opt in explicitly before any recurring charge is set up.
Credits do not expire and stay in your wallet until used.
Closing your account does not automatically refund unused credits. If you want a refund of unused credits, request it before or at the time you ask us to close your account, and we will assess it under the eligibility rules above.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is investigated, in line with our Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable Indian law. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a refund request, you may escalate it to our Grievance Officer, whose details are set out in our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
